Scott

The recent Scott Walker Prom reminded me of a longtime quest of compiling my "ultimate" Scott Walker compilation for my iPod. Taking this further it was decided to create the sleeve for said compilation in the style of a Phillips album from the late 1960s.

She Just Satisfies
Jimmy Page's solo single from 1965 is a freakbeat-tastic treat worthy of The Kinks. It also costs a small fortune to purchase an original copy. Luckily for those of us without limitless resources it was reissued for Record Store Day this year. However the repro Fontana sleeve was a very sorry looking thing so it was decided to give it the lovely European picture sleeve it deserved. The raison d'etre being in this parallel universe 'She Just Satisfies' was reissued in 1967 with a current picture of the Yardbirds era Page. The rear of the sleeve features other Fontana artists worthy of your inspection.

Bonnie & Clyde
In the mid/ late 1990s a good friend of mine did me a compilation tape of Serge Gainsbourg. The song which immediately hit home was Bonnie & Clyde which to this day is one of my favourite songs ever. A few years later (in the days before youtube) I saw a bootleg video of Bonnie & Clyde which was everything I wanted to see: French coolness, cigarettes, gun holsters and berets. Serge and Brigitte looked brilliant in it. For this limited edition print I wanted to capture that feeling of seeing that bootleg video for the first time. 35 copies signed and numbered printed on high quality 250 gram silk paper. Available here.

Who's Your Dad? Update
Eagle eyed readers will have noticed that all posts relating to this project have been removed. This is because having completed pre-production work the film has gone into "production hell". Hopefully one day the stars will align and work can continue on this fabulous project as the world really needs this hybrid of "The Banana Splits" and "Eat The Document".

George Spiggott
The Peter Cook and Dudley Moore tour de force Bedazzled has been a favourite of Piper Gates for a long time (see here and here). Deciding to look at the subject with a different approach it was decided to incorporate the pop art visuals of the Stanley Donen film with the design of Dudley's beloved jazz albums. It was then presented in the look of a lost novel and available as a limited edition of thirty 30cm x 40cm prints here.
