Can you dig it?

After my annual viewing of The Warriors I searched online for the US movie tie in paperback. During the search I discovered a set of bubblegum cards had been produced but I found these lacking. Deciding to right this wrong I created a 32 card set of “Star Wars” style bubblegum cards complete with inane descriptions and featuring all the key moments in the film. For those with eagle eyes the boarders contain illustrations central to the film. Can you dig it?

Dig! Bubblegum Cards

Despite its brazen editing ‘Dig!’ is a brilliant film. In fact I was so enamored with the film that I watched it solidly for a year. Re-watching it a decade later the narrative suggests a more passive agressive Monkees. Taking this thought further it was decided to recreate ‘Dig!’ as a bubblegum card series. Using style cues from the Star Wars cards of the 1970s the cards contain inane descriptions together with quotes making the series the ultimate bubblegum experience.
